Hope it lasts!!
Well, something miraculous happened yesterday: Ella, on her own accord, went #2 on the potty! I was shocked and excited and wasn't sure I would ever see the day. This whole potty training thing was been really difficult for us. We know it's partly developmental, but, in Ella's case, I think it's partly a control thing, too. Anyways, I am thrilled that she decided to go and sure hope we have reached a milestone!We took her to the "big ice cream cone" as a special treat last night....

Way to go Ella!! What a big girl!!
Yay, Ella!!!! Yes, it is all about control with girls like Abby and Ella. Abby had been peeing in the potty forever, but would still have accidents because she didn't want to stop playing, etc. But, once it was her idea, we had little to no accidents.
She has been going #1 for 6-7 months now and hardly ever has an accident. It's just going #2- she absolutely refuses to go on the toilet, for whatever reason. Hopefully you're right and since it was her idea, it will continue. It has to!!
