The rest of our Thanksgiving weekend was fairly low key. Mark and Cheryl came up Saturday afternoon, carrying dinner and offering to watch the kiddos so Chris and I could do some Christmas shopping. Awesome, right?? It was our first kidless date in about six months. We didn't even know what to do, being able to get in and out of the car without a baby bag and stroller and sippy cups! I have to admit it felt pretty great and I treasured that alone time with my honey. Plus, we got almost all of our shopping done for our three and many of our nieces and nephews. We appreciate you so much, Mamaw and Papaw!
On Sunday, we went to church, hung out, ate a LOT of food. For breakfast, Cade chowed down on sugar cookies dipped in Papaw's coffee. Hey, it's the holidays! Yum!!
We baked a turkey for lunch. Chris and Ella each grabbed a half of the wishbone... Daddy got to make the wish!! Harper got in some tummy time. She actually rolled over- belly to back- for the first time over the weekend. She's getting so strong! Love the little clasped hands again. =) That night, we cuddled on the couch with blankets and popcorn for family movie night. Our feature: A Very Monkey Christmas. It is a super cute movie. Two happy campers here! Love easy Sundays with my family!!
