Buddies

These two have been the best of buddies this week. It's so fun watching them together. Ella talks to and plays with Cade as though he understands every single thing she's talking about. He, in return, watches every little thing she does, and the second she looks his way, he will grin and kick those little legs. Ella has told me more than once lately, "Mommy, it's so fun having Cade here at our house!"

In the bath last night, Cade could hardly take his eyes off his big sis...

This is definitely one of my favorite pictures of the two of them. They are both so happy and having so much fun together.

It's near impossible to get both of them looking at the camera at the same time. Ella kept turning Cade's head toward me, but she would look away. It's cute, anyways!
Then this morning after breakfast, Ella said, "Mommy, Cade wants to go lay on my bed and read books." I asked her how she knew that's what he wanted to do, and she said matter-of-factly, "Because he said, Sissy, let's go read books!" :) He does appear to be listening pretty intently here...

I sure love my sweet babies!!
