Birthday boy

The birthday boy was so excited to wake up to birthday decorations! He kept saying, "Momma, see?" He would grab my hand and lead me over to the decorations, then start singing Happy Birthday. He was so proud! He chose donuts for breakfast... and then again for lunch!

He got a surprise package from Papaw and Mamaw!

It was full of balloons, a bat, and balls...

After his favorite spaghetti dinner, it was time for birthday presents! He is so full of expressions these days- I love it!

A new book that makes car and tractor noises!

It took lots of concentration to get his next gift open...

Ella could hardly wait for him to open her gift- a new backpack and rainboots! He loved it! He squealed and said, "A bat-tat!! And boooooots!" So fun!

All dressed up and on the hunt...

Then he opened a new picnic table from Daddy and Mommy...

A perfect place to read books!

We must have sung Happy Birthday at least ten times that night, and every time was more fun than the last! Cade loves to sing it, even to himself!
